Junior Facilities Project Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Junior Facilities Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of complex infrastructure and facility projects across various sites. Your proactive approach will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities
Assist in developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets using construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, and Prolog
Coordinate construction schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects
Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to support project execution
Support cost management efforts by tracking expenditures, managing change orders, and assisting with construction estimating
Collaborate with teams on contract administration, including reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with construction regulations
Manage project documentation using tools like Bluebeam and Civil 3D for accurate record keeping and reporting
Facilitate communication among project teams, clients, vendors, and contractors to maintain alignment on project goals and deliverables
Ensure construction site safety standards are upheld in accordance with regulatory requirements
Assist in managing project risks by identifying potential issues early and supporting mitigation strategies
Contribute to project scheduling coordination by updating timelines and managing critical path activities
Experience
Proven experience in construction site management or a related role within commercial or infrastructure projects
Familiarity with construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid, or similar tools
Strong understanding of construction scheduling, cost management, and project coordination processes
Hands-on experience reading blueprints, construction plans, and technical specifications
Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a construction management role effectively
Knowledge of construction regulations and safety standards applicable to large-scale infrastructure projects
Experience working with contracts, change orders, and regulatory compliance documentation
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
Construction estimating experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
